I have big news. After 3 months of looking i finally have a job. The mall that i work at has a lush store which is a skin care bath and body store like the body shop or bath and body works but way better its more innovative and creative with their products. All their products are natural and FDA approved. http://www.lushusa.com/shop/ They do sell body washes and lotions and perfumes but they also make skin care and really nice soap bars and they sell tins for your soap so the soap does not dry out. Here are some of their products that make lush more special than the body shop and bath and body works. Bath Balms
these are amazing you can also mix their products when you take a bath. you can mix this with their bubble balm which makes you a bubble bath and all of these products work great on the skin. Bubble Bar
the only down side to the bubble bars and bath Bombs is they are made for one time uses but they are good for the skins and they are fun and creative. Bath Melts these are like bath oil but it thins out your water and lets your skin not prune when taking a bath and it really lets your skin moisturize. I have felt them in the store and you really feel them melt when you use it.
I also love the shower jelly's http://www.lushusa.com/shop/products/bath-shower/shower-jellies/whoosh Lush sells regular shower gels but these are so different from what is on the market. you can crush them up and use them in your lufa or whatever device you use for cleaning. you can save your money with them but crushing them up. Also you can use them as shampoo. Also in the summer or if you need an extra pick me up you can put these in the fridge and it will really wake you up in the morning. Emoti bombs This is the show equivalent of bath bomb and bubble bombs. Like bath bombs and bubble bombs they are for one time use. But when you have a headache or just a simple wake up you drop this at the bottom of your shower and it steams up. And the scent will also linger in your shower so it will make your shower smell good too.
Their lip Scrub i am in love with they have a chocolate flavor, a mint flavor and a bubble gum flavor. None of these taste overly sweet they actually taste like bubble gum and ect. The best part is you can eat it. It also scrubs the lips so smoothly. And i love that you can eat it because i hate wiping of a lip scrub. And this is a nice relief. Also its dry. Which when i first sampled it i was like i do not think this will work Than i put it on my lips and they were so smooth. I instantly became a fan plus because of it being dry it. you only need a small amount and it scrubs perfectly. Its a wonderful lip scrub.
you are paying 8 dollars for it but it will last forever because you need a really small amount of it. My lips have never felt so smooth after i used this lip scrub. Anyways i have a new found love for lush products and all of the youtube beauty blogger who have been raving about lush thank you. I am now going to be raving about lush products as well.

Dance Central

I went over to visit a friend abby she is a family friend and luck a cousin to me even though we are not related. She got the new xbox 360 kinect game Dance Central. Its so fun its also an amazing work out. If i had a xbox i would buy this game for a at home work out. It beats all those work out dvds plus they teach you the dance moves before you perform. it breaks them all down like a dance class. plus you get your choice of songs to dance too. i learned the real moves to lady gagas poker face and just dance. its so much better than ddr because you copy the screen when dancing. you move your whole body and you sweat. i have not played just dance but i hope its as good as this.

Growing out hair vs extentions

So i have been growing out my hair for about a year and it is about this length as you see in the picture to the left but i want it grow even more.
I want to grow it out to the the length you see in the picture below. But i also want that full long effect. The problem is most of the time when that look is achieved on celebrities or models its due to hair extensions. I like that hair the bet when its achieved by natural hair. It looks better in high school i really wanted to do hair extensions but i never did because its expensive. The more i got older the more glad i was that i did not get extensions. Because i have learned that it can thin your hair out. I do have a lot of hair and i do not want to thin it out by using extensions. The only problem with natural hair is it takes a long time to grow. So that can get irritating. I do not know how safe clip on extensions are. If they are safe i may try those for the days when i want to tease up my hair and have it big and full. The thing about your hair being teased and curled it makes your hair appear shorter. If your hair is flat ironed and parted down the middle your hair will appear longer. If i used Bobbie pins and did a pumped in my hair it will still look shorter. That is why i am having this natural hair vs extensions argument. I think i should be patient and wait it out but man its hard, but in the end growing out my hair will pay off. But than again there is the saying don't knock it till you try it but i do not know if i want to waist my time and ruin my hair.

I am turning into a little old lady.

Two thing i want to own right now. Is a shower cap and a set of rollers. And that makes me sound like a little old lady and i know i will look like a little old lady using these but they are for a reason. I want a shower cap for the days where i am gonna skip washing my hair and i do not want to get my hair wet while i shower. I want the rollers for the days when i do that 1960's big hair that i am currently obsessed with. I also want a tease brush for when i want to tease the crown of my hair for whenever i go out. And a round brush with soft bristles.

happy 4 months elliot

My nephew is 4 months not 5 months i wrote on my blog that he was 5 months and i felt like correcting myself. Oh and here what i use some my Internet advices for. Facebook i use for my random thoughts. My blog i use for some random thoughts and a place to talk about beauty and some things in my life. I use twitter to talk about shows. i hash tag a lot
during the TV shows i watch. But the reason i am random on facebook is because socially i am a random person. I think random things and i use facebook as a social device. And yes i do post way too much. there are times i will admit hey i did not need to wright that and i will delete it. I may quote a lot TV
shows and songs on facebook and its an annoying habit. I know i need to stop. At least i am aware of it.

Beauty secerts

So i have been reading a lot on beauty secrets a lot and i have been experimenting at home with ways to save money on beauty supplies. I have also discovered ways to use kitchen items for your skin.

1) Extra Virgin olive oil
There is so much you can do with this and it really benefits your skin well.
Eye makeup remover.

• if your skin is really dry this is great for removing eye makeup. If you have a more oily complexion i do not recommend it but its fantastic for removing eye makeup. One swipe with a cotton/pad it gets so much eyeliner and eye make-up off your eye.


• Shaving your legs. Its moisturizing and its protects your legs from getting cut. Its also fantastic for making your razors last and cleaning them off. Soak your razor in e.v.o.o and let it sit for a minute or 2 than rinse with water.


• Its also great in the shower for a hair moisturizer. but use a tiny bit and use it on the ends.


• The reason why some people hair would get greasy is because they used to much hair product and they wash their too much. or the put conditioner or hair shine styling products on the roots.(the only hair product you put on your roots is moose or pomade to get rid of fly aways but even with pomade use a tiny amount.) Your roots need to be clean they do not need a lot of moisture. your ends is what needs the shine and moisture its the same with conditioner. If you use conditioner on your ends only your hair will look healthier and shinier. Shampoo on the roots conditioner on the ends.


• Also on the day you choose to deep condition your hair only use it on the ends.


• use olive oil, sugar or brown sugar with a little sea salt as a homemade body scrub. or face scrub.

2) Do not wash your hair everyday.

• Elle did say that if you are used to washing it everyday than wait for a week where you do not have a lot going on. But all together stop washing your hair everyday. I have never used dry shampoo. I do not need to though. One of my tricks is i go every other day during the week. If i had a old laddie shower cap i would use the shower cap but i do not so i just pull my hair up and do not get it wet. On Saturday i deep condition. And on Sunday i use shampoo by its self. and than on Monday i just do not wash or get it wet. On the weeks where i am not doing much i try to go two days without washing which it does work. On the day you wash it comes out really shinny. You really do use less product in your hair when you don't wash it everyday. Still shower everyday but for your hairs health do not wash it everyday and do not get it wet because it will pay off in the end.


• I talked about this in the bullet about EVOO, But also only use conditioner at the ends of your hair and use shampoo at the root. The roots is where your hair needs to stay clean and if you are using conditioner at the roots it will leave more oil in your hair causing it to be greasy. you want the shine at the ends and the roots do not need oil it has natural oil as there is.

3) When drying your self off with towel do not rub the towel tap the towel onto your skin.

• Its important to follow this rule with your skin care routine as well and your hair. The reason why you tap the towel is because when you rub your skin its rough on it. It also ruins the fabric of the towels. It keeps the towel softer and makes it last longer. It also keeps your skin plumper around your body. Like when your put on concealer and you tug your lids it will cause your eyes to sag when you get older. Like your skin on your body when you rub the towel it will sag your skin so tap it instead of rubbing. Same with your hair.

4) keep the lotion or body butter at the bottom of your shower.

The steam from the shower will heat up the lotion making it possible to heat up on your skin and blend better. and easier this way you use less product and you are saving money. make sure your skin is still a little damp when you put on the lotion. Also use your towel and tap this seals the lotion.

5) cleaning makeup brushes

there are two ways to clean your make-up brushes. Deep clean and spot clean.

• Spot cleaning is so simple get baby wipes or make-up remover wipes and clean your brush after every use.


• Deep cleaning is a lot more complicated there are many techniques to cleaning your brushes. Here what i do i use a combination of Michelle Phan (youtube personality) and things i have learned from make-up artist.

ingredients

• dish soap


• baby shampoo


• conditioner.


• olive oil.

Items

• Plate


• towel


• bathroom sink

Mix all of the ingredients on the plate. tap brushes into the mix do not get the Handel wet and do not let the mix seep near the handle. wet the bottom bristle and rinse with the water. squeeze brush until the water is clear. and MAKE SURE NOT TO GET THE ENTIRE BRUSH WET ESPECIALLY THE HANDLE. than dry the brush in little circles. if its a brush that has a shape that needs to stay brush it in the direction you would use on your face. lay the brush flat to dry. when dyed store you brushes.

(keep in mind if you do not feel like using the dish soap that is fine. I use it to disinfect the brush. But you can it can clean fine without the soap. Also the olive oil just softens the bristles. But you do not have to use that either.)

Cover girl- one Brand i avoid from the drugstore is cover girl products they do not work for my skin and they do not last very long. They work great for some people but just not on me. i will try some of there items but its rare that i like cover girl products.

There are a lot of products of theirs that i like to try.





Studio Secrets Professional Secret No.1 Magic Perfecting Base


I want to see if there is a decent enough primer out there in drug stores so i can save money. It is still expensive it cost about 12.99 depending on where you live in the us it may cost different. Any of the products in the L'Oreal hip line they cost around 7.99 depending where you live. The reason why i want these is because i have read a lot of raved reviews on these products have amazing pigment for a drug store brand. I have heard a lot of comparisons to mac. I am not the biggest mac fan. I like there brushes and some of there makeup but i prefer shu umera for artistry makeup. The Hip liner also has liners, Lip stick,and gloss. I will also try any of there products because what may not work on your skin may work better on somebody else.

Maybleinne have had some bad luck with maybeline products like covergirl. But in the end Maybeline always beat cover girl in performance on my skin.

I First want to talk about mascara. Both of these have gotten raved reviews on YouTube. Either Elle Fowler(All that glitters 21) or Blair her sister(Juicystar 07)rave about this mascara. It the falsie's. And Lisasz09 raves about the one by one mascara saying it gives the look of fake lashes without the bulk. If these are as good as they say they are i will have found a way to spend less money on mascara. Falsie's is 6.99, One by one is 7.99. I will try any drugstore mascara because it cost less money and you are supposed replace it every 3 months.

Neutrogena Cosmetics

I normally appose to drugstore foundation because its difficult to match to your skin. But i have heard so many raves about this foundation that i am meaning to try it. I also want to try the healthy skin enhancer as well.



I also want to try the healthy skin blends blush. I love a Mosaic blush.



One of their products i have used before that i loved is the glow sheers. Its a great product that gives a sheer illuminate sheen to your skin but its not shimmery its really lightweight. It also has a decent coverage.

NYX

I want love their shadows, eyeliners, glosses, and lip sticks i will try their blushes and powders as well. The one thing i want to try the most is the jumbo pencils lip and eyes. I also do like their palettes for how in-expensive they are they work pretty decent. The best part about NYX is their color selection. They have a huge selection of colors.

Right now what i really want for physicians is their new gel liners in the shimmer sticks collection. Whats great about them is they are created for eye colors. They have a blue, green, brown and hazel eye collection. And depending if you get the regular set, or the glam set it you get 3 different colors of liner. Their powders are fantastic they have so many choices of blushes and face powders it can be hard to choose what to pick. I even want to try the primer they just released.







I want to try their organic wear tinted moisturizer. I am not too keen on the color selection but i want to see if its a good tinted moisturizer. The reviews i read on ulta.com are good so i will have to try it out.
I also really want to try their brand new tinted moisturizer because it has an spf of 50. It does not have great color selection but its a tinted moisturizer its goes on lighter than foundation.


I have used the shimmer tips shadows and liners and they are fantastic. I want to try the shimmer strips shadow and blush as well. And both the organic wear mascara.

Anyways you may think its weird that i am writing about all the make-up i want to own or want to try. But i need to start collecting make-up and makeup brushes more. And i just thought would do a blog about all the drug store brands out there. Plus i think its good to use both drug store and high brands to get a balance and know what works best on the market.

High School Girl Make-up Spoof

This was me in juinior high and in my freshmen and sophtmore year of high school man did my makeup look bad then.


I did not use the crayola maker but i did use way too much eyeliner because i thought that was how to do a smokey eye. I also did not use the brown shadow i used so much black shadow. I also wore alot of mascara and white shadow at the browe line. I did not do my browes though. I would also globb on so much lip gloss that my hair would stick to my lip. I did my water line. I did at least knew where my crease was and how to blend. Although i till used the sponge applicaters because i never wanted to look natural at that time i used so much powder that i would carry with me i looked so cakey. I also had 10 different lip glosses in my purse. I think next time i have webcam i will do a video of what did when i was in high school I would be nice to make fun of how stupid i looked

But a flat shadow brush , a liner brush and a blending brush that is all you need for basic eye makeup. If you want a smokey look than also buy a smudge brush as well. Also for good eye shadow spray the brush damp it will make a good eyeliner.

This one is also really spendy but its a fantastic value. you get 12 eye shadows. You also get a primer. Which is one thing that is really needed in wearing eye shadow. A good primer as well as shadow kit is worth splurging on. Primers keep from your shadow from creasing. they also make your shadows last and not fade. They are also perfect for making your shadow not look dull they keep the pigment going. Because primers neutralize your eye before you put on shadow.

Foundation Brush Comparision.

Stippling Brush- This is a fantastic brush for foundation. I love regular foundation brushes but what makes this brush special is it is perfect for a even covered also it blends your makeup into your skin. It really allows you skin to look like skin. If you do not want to look heavy use one of these brushes for your foundation. you can use it by it self. Or after you put on your foundation with a flat foundation brush.

You can use this with mineral makeup regular liquid foundation or even tinted moisturizer. I would definitely recommend this brush for tinted moisturizer, Because tinted moisturizer tends to sink into a regular foundation brush and it can sometime make you use more product. with tinted moisturizer you want to use as less product as you can so this is a good brush for that. Its also a good brush for saving money because you really do use less product with these brushes also.

Foundation Brush- I love these too they are best used for a full heavy coverage. And getting little gaps in your face that are hard to cover like a concealer brush. They are after you use a Stippling brush and you want to build the coverage of the foundation. these can streak though or can get cakey but that is one of the reasons to invest in a stippling brush. A Kabuki Brush is also great for blending but it works better for mineral powder or dry powder or bronzer or blush not the best for a liquid foundation. Big fluffy blush brushes are also great for mineral powder and blush and bronzer.

In my survey i said that gossip girl was my guilty pleasure well it is one of them but i have another one. Television spoilers. I go on elonlie all the time to read all of Kristen dos Santos Television gossip. I love it a lot. I like knowing what going to happen on a show. The Pleasure of it is that they do not tell you the entire episode they just tell you what is to come. Also i have been called a walking spoiler. My other huge guilty pleasure is IMDB Message boards. I find them really funny. Especially IMDB trolls. They say the most stupid things ever that are nonsense. They are only Internet uses but they are things that l like doing that i feel guilty about.

I need new glasses

First off i looked like crap yesterday. Second that is my nephew elliot. Isn't he cute. I need to make time too see him more often because he is going to moved to chicago. Oh and he is pretty close to being 5 mounths. And he is a huge baby. I am amazed that he can hold his neck upalready. Not many babies are that fast at that. hold his neck up already my neice took way longer when she was a baby. She going to be 4 on the 6st. B TW i wOh another thing about the glasses i wish we had free healthcare like in cananda. i would have new glasses by now. All though maybe glasses aren't free there. I sounded a little ignorant just then. Bacj to elliot its amazing that he can ill have to put a picture of her up too. She is adorable. Actually i follow the blog my sister in law lacey has of her. Those were my old glasses that broke in half. but that is callie. I am in love with being an aunt. And both my brothers are great parents. I am proud of them. Josh and emily elliot is very well behaved. And Caleb and lacey callie is a great kid and also really well behaved and funny. Anyways one thing i look forward to getting in the future is webcam.
